Discovering photographers
Idly poking Corbis,
essayel and I today discovered H. Armstrong Roberts, and Robert Recker.
Utterly different, both very brilliant. Recker is artsy, and Roberts appears to have been somethign of the co-inventor of stock photography. He's been working from the twenties to the seventies, and his agency still exists and does business today. He has no Wikipedia entry of his own, though - I'll have to research him in the library and at least write a stub. He deserves it.
