MP3 ruins the music industry some more - or was that the content of my wallet?

Listening to some David Usher songs from [livejournal.com profile] millitunes on the train while going to work, I decided they were really worth listening to. So I just went and ordered two of his CDs on Amazon.de, due to be delivered in two weeks.

I'd never have bought those CDs without the MP3s that came for free and made me want moooore!of!this. Well, yes, or without my new computer which has a CD burner so I could put the entire collected output of [livejournal.com profile] millitunes so far on a MP3 CD and listen to it on my way to work, in a situation where I could really listen.. Like any proper singer/songwriter (what one would call 'Liedermacher' in German), David Usher is best appreciated with full attention on the text.

And yes, I really like his music, not just because he's on [livejournal.com profile] notsoyoung 's icons in [livejournal.com profile] milliways_bar ...

Music

Listening to the cracksong while cycling through green fields AWAY from work is strangely happiness-inducing.

(no subject)

I caved in.

I took my little foldup computer the the coffee table and have now ensconced myself between laptop, TV, and sofa.

So I can stay in Milliways and watch 'Lost' at the same time.

Nothing can induce me now to ever get up again. Or something like that.
