Something is foul...

LJ has been slow these past few days, anything between 'slightly dopey' and 'wading through molasses'; what's more, the CSS has been on the fritz, so that occasionally, [livejournal.com profile] milliways_bar just dumps the naked content.

Something is definitely Very Wrong Here.

I have the terrible, terrible nagging suspicion they are going to try and turn it pink for V-Day.-

Music meme

[livejournal.com profile] ceitfianna assigned me a D, as not to make things too hard for me. Little does she know how full my iTunes is. I could have dealt with a Q or Z!

The meme is this:

Reply to this post and I'll assign you a letter.
List (and upload, if you feel like it) 5 songs that start with that letter.
Post them to your journal with these instructions.

My five songs are:

Ragnaroek -- Darth Mannelig. Stands for medieval and crossover music. The medieval song 'Herr Mannelig' is crossed over with the Darth Vader theme from Star Wars.

Abney Park -- Death of the Hero. Stands both for steampunk, and the amazing variety of influences that is Milliways. I heard about this band via a Backroom post by a Kingdom Hearts mun, and instantly fell in love with the music.

Vangelis -- The Drums Of Gaugamela. Stands for my love of all things classical, and for movie soundtracks. My iTunes is full of movie soundtracks; I got my iTunes store account originally to purchase the OST of PotC2.

Apocalyptica -- Domination
. No list of mine could be complete without Apocalyptica! It is thelong-time favourite band of the Nazgul and me. We have seen them in concert quite a number of times! And discovered several good bands that supported them. They also stand for Finland, for heavier music, and for totally crazy crossovers. Heavy Metal on classical celli -- really!!

Dhire Jalna -- from the movie 'Paheli'. Stands for my yen for Bollywood movies (undubbed, with subtitles, please!) and for the influences people like to call World Music.
