Oh yes, he's immensely funny! anghara13 sent me his live DVD for a Christmas present, and I've been watching it umpteen times now and still laugh at it. You know, he comes from the same wellspring of Brit humour that Eddie Izzard came from before him, one feels. He deserves great international success!

And I'm so totally seeing that movie the moment it comes out here -- in English, at the English cinema where [Unknown site tag] and I see almost all our movies. I hope he'll get popular here as well, but basically, Russell Brand is untranslateable. Even speaking text written for him by others.-
