Approaching the market in the dark, you see all the lights beckoning!


Welcome! I heard a lot of English in the crowd this year, by the way. You notice that the Americans are coming back.


A stall, and the big Christmas 'pyramid' in the background. Usually, these are wooden ornaments with something like a horizontal mini-windmill on top, under which you light candles; the rising warmth turns the windmill, and the little nativity scene starts going round and round.
