Many sports are silly. Golf? My beloved baseball? Looked at the right way, it is very silly.

Harder to defend luge this week, since it seems to have become a little more risky than it was.

There is also a lot of debate about any sport with a subjective scoring system. The people who ice dance, or are gymnasts, or divers, are all athletes. But how do you compare these with objective sports? Or does it matter in the first place?
