I love seeing your little picture journals! It looks like you guys had a good time. When we were kids, my family used to do historical-geared vacations rather than the big touristy vacations, and I always liked doing stuff like that.

Thought about you today when we saw a special about the Romantische Strasse and the yearly reenactment of the surrender of Dinkelsbuhl. It made me want to visit so badly, especially the segments on Rothenburg and Wurzburg, since those were two places we'd visited when I was 18! (sorry, I can't remember my codes for special characters!!!)
