My DVD player is seriously on the fritz. It takes ages, and many repetitions of in-and-out, for it to recognise a disc. The day it stops doing so altogether, it becomes reduced to doorstopper and must be replaced by something. Maybe a Blue-Ray thing that plays DVDs as well, just to be on the safe side.
