In the long exposition about the dwarves and Erebor, there was one more thing I wanted to mention!
Not only does Lee Pace make an amazing and very elvish-looking Thranduil, he rides an actual megaloceros in those scenes. What is it with the prehistoric megafauna in Peter Jackson's version of Middlearth?
