Watching 'Prometheus'
- Ancient Astronauts. They were original in 'Stargate' (the movie, not the interminable series I didn't watch), but since then, not really.
- I like the 'Lawrence of Arabia' reference, though.
- But why must an android dye his hair??
- The movie could as well be called 'Captain Obvious', because they state the obvious all the time.
- Yes, obviously you have to take off your helmets on an alien planet. People do it all the time.
- If you find a closed door with a dead body in front, decapitated by the door, what is the first thing you expect to find when you open the door? THE HEAD, you dunces! So why is everybody so tremendously astonished?
- The Nazgul wonders why people have to sit backwards in these vehicles -- bound to get sick!
- Why has David this strange agenda of his own, and nobody questions it?
- 'Are they real?' No, they are movie props, my dear Captain Obvious!!
- Yes, go ahead and pet the alien monster snake! Good grief, did the script writer never read TV Tropes??
- Why the hell do they keep opening doors??
- 'He's not good' is apparently an adequate description of somebody whose helmet has been bashed in and whose head has turned into some sort of amorphous mush.
- Oh yes, the android goes on randomly poking stuff.
- Why did all the aliens look the same?
- And now, we come to the bloody part where most of the dialogue decays to "ARGGHHH ARGHHH ARGHHH SMASH!"
- Why on earth did they use a young person in heavy make-up instead of an old person?? It's so bloody obvious. There are enough old people out there who take acting jobs!
- Afraid she was dead? She was whimpering to herself all the time!
