To some of you, I mentioned having drawn cute kids instead of writing while offline at the Baltic Sea? Well, I've put all of them on the scanner last weekend at my sister's (she's got a very superior scanner), burned them on a CD- and here they are now.
Most of them show what I inagine some of the characters from the
discworld_rpg might have looked like as kids - but it doesn't matter in the slightest! The drawings stand in their own right, without the need to know who they are supposed to be to make sense. On the contrary - everybody who's really liked them so far didn't know about the RPG at all, while those that did were a bit sceptical.
You can view them in two ways: one, click on the cut below, and you'll get all fourteen of them, small-ish, on one LJ page. Two, you follow the link on the teaser icons (iconage: gack & credit & put on text if you like!) to get slightly larger versions, one at the time.
These pictures can be considered work-safe, unless somebody objects to excessive cutesy-ness. I have three more drawings, definitely not work-safe, that I will post on
circlesea_tales momentarily. They show two of my characters from the Discworld RPG and will probably not interest anybody not connected with that.

And I find myself strangely unable to explain what I thought of when I drew it. Whatever you find in the drawings is the right thing, and there for you to discover.

They all seem to have a similar, pouting expression on their faces, which makes them look rebellious. I like that.
I also like the one with the wolf. It's a wolf, right, not a dog? :-D

There is actually one who has always moved me deeply for some reason: Tyson when he was little. I think I know how I would like to draw him. Perhaps I will. And perhaps I'll put it on the scanner and send it to you for the next Inception, but I won't promise anything...

I did some sketches of hara last week but I'm a bit embarrassed about them. Need to work on them more.

Surely you recognise Ponder, though? And Victor's picture even has a quote from "Moving Pictures" as title, the one about tigers being 3,000 miles away - but if you haven't recently re-read MP, you're lost there as well, of course.
I'm glad you like them, in any case.
