[livejournal.com profile] asar_suti's canon arrived!!

I've got it now, to hold and keep and refer to, not something I might have had from a library at some stage any more!!

And I read the end first, of course, on the train to work. I was late, and got the worst time slot with all the kiddies returning from school on it, and didn't even consider joining [livejournal.com profile] childfree as I usually do on that time slot because I was so squeeing for the wrong side!!

I got the chalice right, though, in the part of "drinking the Blood of the Seker"; in the book, it's exactly how I improvised it. Forming the chalice out of the godfire itself and all that. They even call it a "goblet". heh! I smell the next nasty meta-canon pun here.

Plus, I am collecting ammunition. There are so many things [livejournal.com profile] asar_suti might set to work on [livejournal.com profile] lochiel. There's even something that might be used to rob Lochiel of potential Endless support if necessary.

On the way home, I'll read up on teaching basic Ihlini magic so Asar-Suti gets to teach [livejournal.com profile] toddbaby correctly.

Unless you're pro-abortion, I wouldn't join childfree. I left because I got tired of all the "If I get knocked up, I'll just get vacuumed out again!" comments.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 06:21 am (UTC)(link)
I won't join [livejournal.com profile] childfree as they're a bunch of bloody whiners that only ahve a point once in a while. But it's good to know there's a hate!hate comm for anything that might get on your nerves.

I should find the right one for computer people getting annoyed by network users; [livejournal.com profile] customers_suck is not specific enough.

Sorry for metaposting; I'm logged in as my sockpuppet at the moment because I needed to milliquote something rather funny I'd just seen.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 06:54 am (UTC)(link)
Hello, my dear 'Tweeny! What are you making cryptic comments for?

nice suti there

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_inbetween_/ 2004-12-06 07:07 am (UTC)(link)
coz i cleverly expected you to provide more fodder for me to answer to instead of talking about a-s-canon-books or abortion *satisfied*

'Suti is supposed to be teh Ebil!!

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 07:17 am (UTC)(link)
I am not talking about abortion! I am definitely not talking about abortion to the Lady! I am so not talking about abortion, were I to talk about abortion any less, I would have to talk about non-abortion.

She brought it up, but I am not going to answer to that in any way.

suti is teh cuty!

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_inbetween_/ 2004-12-06 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
yes, i can clearly read that you are not writing about it.

*fleb fleb fleb* [=notional sound of sticking out tongue]

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 02:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I am so totally not venturing ANY opinion on it, oh noe!!

now watch me get verra verra deep

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_inbetween_/ 2004-12-06 02:25 pm (UTC)(link)
put away that spotty face and give me the cuter pic again.

soooo, all my attempts at ill-communication don't make this a thread. not that we cannot keep spinning nothingness into a web just as well ...

and i don't like the bits in spider-webs, so fuck substance.

Philosophy on a Monday evening

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 02:33 pm (UTC)(link)
This one?

Exactly - the point of spider webs are the spaces, not the threads, so. Let's have all space and no thread. We are not talking about anything, my dear 'Tweeny. No-no-nothing.

yup, zats ze cuty suti

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_inbetween_/ 2004-12-06 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
for the victims. for the spider, the threads are everything. as i hate them, i'll go for spaces. as my head is both empty and full, i go for spaces. and why do you keep calling me tweeny again?!?

I Suti, you Tweeny

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
All solid, a spider's web would be useless. Like with knitted sweaters, it's not the material but the spaces in between that are the point.

you're lucky

[identity profile] http://users.livejournal.com/_inbetween_/ 2004-12-06 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
coz i would have nothing to answer but it's too quiet otherwise

[identity profile] rimestock.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
You are breaking my head OH GODS SO BAD.

*is still rather amused at self for uploading default icons from characters to mundane account*

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 06:41 am (UTC)(link)
And I metapost all over the place with my sockpuppets unless the subject or person is too serious.

But the Lady isn't serious. She crawls under people's skirts in chats.

Erm. Does that mean that "mun" is short for "mundane"??

[identity profile] rimestock.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 07:57 am (UTC)(link)

*several times*

Ahh, yes.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 08:33 am (UTC)(link)
You're that fellow as well??? You must have more characters than "Abby".

And thanks for the info; I like to know where jargon expressions come from.

[identity profile] rimestock.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 09:30 am (UTC)(link)
Umm... yes, yes I do, actually.

I have six with posting access right now, and I applied for Parry last night.

I also have journals created for three others; two of them I'm indecisive about, but the third WILL be applied for... once I have a face for her, at least.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 09:57 am (UTC)(link)
Heh!! Adrian Brody! Who is he for you?

At the [livejournal.com profile] discworld_rpg, he's [livejournal.com profile] ottochriek.

And such number of characters! Brainbreakage! [livejournal.com profile] asar_suti is quite enough for me, although I contemplate bringing in my vampire character and letting AS de-vampire him for twinking and godding where he comes from. People have been de-vampired before at the bar...

[identity profile] rimestock.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
AB: *is Parry, applied for last night*

As for the de-vampiring... it's only one person, although it's happened twice, and Tracy makes my brain hurt with her plots.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
You don't even know [livejournal.com profile] beth_metatronim whom I'm plotting to de-vampire to keep him from twinking plot lines at the [livejournal.com profile] discworld_rpg, or rather, keeping out of other people's plot lines with excuses like whoah.

[identity profile] rimestock.livejournal.com 2004-12-06 01:11 pm (UTC)(link)

No, although I've seen him around from time to time.

*smiles faintly*

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Wotcher, Sooty. Sorry for the intrusion but I was trying to see if youy were pingable. I hope you're really enjoying the Homana books - I enjoyed the ones I read but haven't got the one with the background to Asar-Suti and Lochiel. Not that Gil needs it.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Am alive now, but in Loggage Limbo; that is, AS is still a cat on Tye's pillow at the moment. He might have some little fun with Gil tomorrow night, though...

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 02:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh for rooms that aren't fitted with catflaps!! Gil will be around, I hope, but if he hasn't shown I'm essayel on both YM and AIM so feel free to give me a prod if Sooty needs chocolate or a sympathetic cuddle.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 03:22 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I'm going to add you on Y!M anyway, just in case and all. At the moment, he's still in that catflap-less place, and will be a while longer...

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 03:43 pm (UTC)(link)

That happened to Gil once - Bartleby locked him in with The Fool for two days. Gil, not being a god, had a very unhappy bladder.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Gah!! I hope Bartleby got properly kiched afterwards...

*ouch sharp little hooves*

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, no! Gil couldn't do that. Besides Bart had left the premises for a month.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 04:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Gil is such a cute tame little faun! Someone should have gone and poked Bart accordingly.

*gets defensive over the Gil*

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Gil got all indignant at him when he came back. And poking Bartleby is a bad idea, he makes Loki look like Mother Teresa.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Does nobody ever stand up to that pair?

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 04:47 pm (UTC)(link)
Nobody wants to be toast. Divinity isn't something one can buck. And Bartleby did apologise to Gil. He has reformed quite a lot. I have NO idea what's going on with Loki at present but then Gil just potters around on his own most of the time having little casual chats with people.

Being in a wierd time zone means I've never tried to develop a plot.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 05:04 pm (UTC)(link)
What weird time zone are you in?

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 05:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm in the UK but am not an absolutely regular attender. I often have Gil meet up with Richard and David because their muns are either UK themselves or work very peculiar hours. You're on the continent, aren't you? An hour ahead.

[identity profile] asar-suti.livejournal.com 2004-12-10 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. Munich, Germany.-

And I keep the strangest hours anyway, but there are times when I won't let AS into the bar because, you know? The threat of around-the-clock-RPage always looms.

It's now a quarter to three, and I went online today at seven, even though not to RP for a change, as AS was a cat in a catflapless room. I've got to write one page of text I promised to somebody, and then I'll crash for a while.-
