I'm flying by the seat of my pants, basically. I thought mushroom spores might account for weirdness -- he could be infected with them, which would make sense to the docs examining him about his reactions, but in reality, it's something far more sinister. The curse!!!
Something like...ergot. You know, ergot? That fungus that grows on rye and what they make LSD from? So I figure he inhaled some funky spores that are making him hallucinate and have tremors, and pain...etc. Or so it appears....
Anyway, anytime I write something for Eamon, I'm thinking of you as my audience. I hope I don't disappoint.
Pant-seat flying? We spoke about the aspergillus flavus when we first plotted that; you're doing that very well this way. And who knows what other spores might have been at that site...
