Here's a few first pictures from what I did this weekend. I also have a huuuuuuge hairy dead spider, but I'll post that separately, I think. So this post is safe for everybody.

Very nice, that's like "Changing Rooms". I'll never manage anything like that (mainly because there's no wall I can afford not to fill with shelves).

Yep, just like 'Changing Rooms'. In fact, Sphinx and I made jokes about the German equivalent of that, 'Einsatz in 4 Wänden' on RTL, from the very beginning when we planned that. If you look at the name of the special Photobucket we made for the pictures, you'll see that.

Ooh, it looks like a room on one of those home decorating shows. Except pretty, and actually functional!

Thanks! Yep, and it'll be used as a guest room, too. There's a convertible sofa that'll go to where the mattress with the red bedspread is now once the kids start changing around rooms and the current spare bedroom goes to the middle kid.
