Slightly demented people on public transport. When I rode the S-Bahn to the station yesterday to catch the train to Wiesbaden, there was this fellow sitting across from me, about fifty, with a huuuuuuge nose, and muttering to himself (or some invisible companion) all the time. Totally not there. But he knew very well at which stop he (they?) had to get off...
I will, even though it's terribly rainy here at the moment. We were rained on while walking to the Japanese restaurant last night, and rained on coming back.
And in there, my parents did enjoy the sushi, but they didn't get the principle of 'sushi goes to a parallel universe when eaten' that nazgulwears and I uphold. All-you-can-eat sushi only makes sense with the parallel universe activated...
Even all-you-can-eat isn't cheap; it was 16 euro per person there. So. One has to eat significantly more sushi than would add up to 16 euro if the plates and colours were counted, right? And of course always go for the expensive sort. Use the flat rate as best one can, or the flat rate would be pointless.
I think the sushi place in Munich that the Nazgul frequents gets very scared when they see her coming. And if they see me coming with her, ohhh dear...
LOL - I never got as far in maths as to hear that word. I believe I heard it used in some uni seminar or other. As in, the ability to draw conclusions from one thing and apply them accordingly... which is what I'm crap at. ;-)
Then the person you heard the word from was probably studying to be a teacher? It's probably general didactics by now.
When I ask my mother, just saying the word, she immediately quotes an example from teaching kids maths...
You bet they are smutty. But sometimes they're just plain cheesy and full of self-pity. Which is why I love them so much. But the slang kills me! There are so many words where you don't know wether they are actually people's names, or something that only exists in Argentina, and so on.
She was my whole life, like a spring sun, my hope and my passion, ans she knew that the world wouldn't be enough to contain the humble joys of my poor old heart...
... and now that everything goes downhill, I can't tear my old illusions out, and dream homesickly of the past for which I cry and that will never return....
Ah, so that's what the SMS was about Incidentally I mailed Heike if she had time to haunt a Shushi restaurant during the easter holidays. But she's going to Japan in april, for almost three weeks. I burst with jealousy. But I got to try the new library system. It's really nice, I have to tell you about it.

Hmmm. I do find that principle interesting, but must admit that, like your parents, I don't get why all-you-can-eat needs it. ;-)

Nah, Shakira sings about other things I don't understand, but they sound very nice.
