I'm sorry about the bus drama. I understand completely. Transit is good when it works, but when it doesn't... GRRRRR
Luckily, my office is moving on Monday to a location much closer to the subway so I won't have to wait for the bus (which only comes every 30 minutes) or walk one kilometer. And it's really NOT that I mind walking, but it's quicker to wait for the bus when it's one time. I always must guess whether it's better to wait for the bus, which could be in 1 minute or 20, or just walk! Sound familiar?
I ran into a girl from Munich just now on the subway. I wear a cute jacked that says Kln on it. She asked if I was from there, and I disappointed her. But we did talk. She's from Muenchen and actually works near your house - at Rosenheimer Platz. It truly is a small world at times.
Heh, that's exactly the choice I faced - wait for the bus, or walk? I'd have been at the S-Bahn station three times when I finally decided to walk.
But what made me really angry was the way that subcontracting company didn't care. I'll have their hide. Onna stick, to wave at the Gigantic Claw O'Doom...
