Icky drink

I'm getting used to the vile drink I'm forcing down for the sake of the heat, replacing fluids and minerals efficiently, etc.

Isotonic saline solution, that is, home-brewed Gatorade. Sort of. Juice (pineapple or grapefruit), vitamins, water, and salt, one teaspoon per litre of fluid.

At summery room temperature, it has a satisfying viscosity that reminds me of blood. I feel like a happy vampire drinking blood. It is icky, but is also very good in a slightly sick sort of way.

*laughs* Umm, we have a drink here called emer-gen-C. I dunno if you can get it in Germany, but it is very tasty powdered substance. Might want to look into it.

Oh, I got used to my brew by now. The advantage is, it is dirt cheap - important criterium if you drink the stuff by the gallon.
