The Little Lady making a very silly face

Me with the Little Lady, triumphant at having walked 2.8 miles in my new sandals with the special oomph -

Old, idyllic waterworks

The beach at sunset

The Little Lady riding some go-cart contraption with her little friends

Before the storm

Campfire - picture by my mother

The Little Lady trying to drive - what you CAN'T see is my father on whose lap she is sitting

The Little Lady on a carousel while my mother is taking pictures

The Beast - but in red

My father with some archaeological artifacts

The Little Lady not joining in making a Viking village

Actual Viking village - in the background, you see the museum where the last picture was taken! We walked a lot that day as well, and my sandals fulfilled their promise. Superheros have their leotards, masks and capes - I just need my sandals

The Little Lady sweeping in Haithabu

A Viking sidewalk

Gnarled tree roots near Haithabu

Barbequeue fire

The tree isn't flowering in August, the backsides are shimmering pale in the rising storm

On the tractor ride - the Little Lady and some of her little friends sharing sweets

The kids took turns riding on the tractor itself with the farmer - now it's the Little Lady's turn

Wind turbines in the sunset

One of the little friends turning cartwheels on the trampolin - picture by my mother

The Little Lady with a collapsed dolmen-type barrow. It wasn't her fault.

I'm intrigued by the tree. It appears to me that the hole is a gaping mouth. The two knots above it look like nostrils, and the roots to the left are hair or a beard. I can only begin to imagine the legends associated with that.
Oh, and I'm curios about those chocolate kisses. Mmmm...
Enjoy your holiday.
