Cat is acquitted, and I am immured

Last night's wrackspurts that the cat chased around my room were for real - they were mozzies instead! They stung my hand, my leg, and most insidiously, my left eyelid, while I was sleeping.

My eyelid looks a bit odd now - swollen and droopy. So not me. Well, I'm not putting one single foot outside today and tomorrow anyway as we're being invaded by Emperor Palpatine, and the Imperial Stormtroopers the Pope from Rome, and the police are everywhere. Along the route where the Pope is to go, they've collected all parked bicycles yesterday and carted them off.my bicycle is staying at home - with me, the cat, and a huge lot of coffee and a nice bottle of red, depending on the time of day.
