They're denying stuff in Milliways; I need to deny something in RL.
I hereby vigorously deny that Lucifer has been chewing the ribbon off the library book about Rudolf Nureyev that I am reading at the moment. Cats don't do that sort of thing. If anybody claims that the ribbon is considerably shorter than it used to be, they must be hallucinating.
