My cat is almost fully grown now, and a big strong muscular tomcat. He's still cute and funny and infinitely charming, but much more grown-up. Cute Overload material he might not be, but here goes:

Of course, all cats lick their privates. That's not special. What's special is that hind paw waving in the air...

Oh, he's used to it. And he's not easily scared. The only things that scare him are a) my neighbour Angela the painter and b) the vacuum monster.

The hind paw pointing to the ceiling is a favourite thing. When I was a kid there were still electric trams in london that we called 'trolleybuses' and they had a hinged arm from the roof that used to pick up the current from over head wires. When our cat abluted my grandpa used to say he was being a trolleybus.

I've only just remembered that. Wow - a fortyseven year old memory.

I've seen trolley buses in St. Petersburg; there's a mess of wires over all larger streets. And yes, the way Lucifer holds his leg really reminds you of the things they have on top to suck elecricity from the wires!
