As I already explained to [livejournal.com profile] nazgulwears who was a bit miffed at her A-, it's the Latin. It seems like such a 'breadless art' until you suddenly need it...

Yeah, but the one I didn't know was old English so Latin doesn't count this time! :-)

Yes, the Latin was innocent in your case. In my case, it is what gave me that truly stellar result. I'm not that much better at English than you or anybody else on my flist; but I know Latin. That comes in handy.-
