Being a fan has become rather globalised - we all drool at blokes like John Barrowman or Johnny Depp or Brendan Fraser.

But I can be unashamedly local, too, and be a great and rabid fan of people like Frédéric Laforêt or Marek Tuma, whose names probably have never been heard on an LJ before...
