Okay, this week, Lucifer's ball come off. Finally, definitely, terminally. Either tomorrow or on Thursday. The vet said on the phone I can just walk in with him during surgery hours, and can wait there and take him back with me. I just have to take his food away in the morning if I take him into afternoon surgery.

And it's much cheaper than I thought, too. So depending on things, it's tomorrow or Thursday.

Snip-snip. Eunuch!

So he is of a satisfactory size?

This will be for the better, for both of you! I still can't get over the fact that he "got busy" (as they say in Atlanta) with Swaba! That's practically incest.

He is a great hugge whopping beast of a tomcat. Long and strong and muscular and sportsy.

The Nazgul and I say he's a 'Muskelkater' which is a complicated pun. 'Kater' doesn't just mean 'tomcat', it is also a colloquial expression for hangover. A 'muscle hangover' is the soreness you get in your muscles after working out, especially if you're not used to it. Of course, we use it to mean 'muscular tomcat' when talking of Lucifer.

Children grow up so fast :(

My sofie is still tiny, though. She weights only 9 lbs (up from 6) and is nearly 3 years old - or so they say.

I just worry that I'll kill her in my sleep and not even notice.

Don't worry, she would notice in time.

Female cats are often much smaller than males; Lucifer's sister Lucky is a small thing, my colleague Helene in whose stables he was born told me. But their father was this huge big roving tomcat. I wonder if he might have had some Maine Coone in him, to be that big. So Lucifer grew up to be that tall and strong, too.
