Aren't we humans odd?
We voluntarily let small predators into our homes, we feed them meat even at times when we ourselves eat none, play at hunting with them, cuddle them, and love them with all our hearts.
I wonder why we do it? And don't tell me it's because they originally were useful with hunting our prey, or hunting vermin. Cows are useful as well, but we don't love them, and we don't keep them in flats where there are no sheep to guard, and no mice to hunt.
There must be something special about humans and furry predators.

Mine catches rodents and attacks the dog at random. I originally brought her home because she attached herself to me and after that the children attached themselves to her.

However, we're working on the Ancient Egyptian thing. On the German speaking part of the blogosphere, I go by the name of Sethos, the undead Ancient Egpytian...

You should see the way he looks at me if he wants to play, and I don't want to because the vet said he should take things easy for four weeks.
Puss in Boots from Shrek2 is a rank amateur in comparison...
