It's the image transition called 'page turn'. At least in JASC AnimationShop.-

And yes, in Milliways, Dean Stockwell is the PB for my Tarot card, The Tower (destroy_restart). There is only a tenuous connection -- he is definitely not Manny! But there is fun meta, especially if he talks to one of corchen's Milli!pups: - she is Cambion, Colly, Bethan and Sasha in MM!
