yakalskovich: (Supernatural)

Various media

[livejournal.com profile] nazgulwears and I watched 'Darjeeling Limited' yesterday. It was majorly on crack, but great fun. There were these three neurotic brothers from New York stumbling through the world being neurotic and hardly noticing the rest of the world was real, until they got thrown off a train in India for letting loose a poisonous snake. It helped, of course, that the main characters were played by Ponder, Otto and Belar Jason Schwartzman, Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson respectively, and the director was the same who had made 'Rushmore'. However, it was a pity Jason Schwartzman wore a moustache for almost all of the movie. I really, really don't like moustaches.

Now for something completely different: Question! When will there be more 'Supernatural'? I think it's infinitely lovely that there is new Torchwood, but some Supernatural would be welcome as well. There has been nothing since the Christmas ep, as far as I can tell; but that was a month ago!

Supernatural may or may not have fallen victim to the writers' strike. I don't keep up with TV, so I'm not sure whether they've run out of episodes yet.
But it's possible that they're either out of episodes or sitting on a few remaining in order to stretch out the time before they run out of new material.

If they have any new episodes that they filmed before the writer's strike began, I expect they're holding them until February sweeps. But like [livejournal.com profile] minkhollow said, I'm not sure if they have more or are just waiting until the strike's over to resume filming.
