I will admit that I have had a general discomfort with Germans in the past, but as I have become more and more part of the filk world, I have met a lot of Germans and worked to get past preconceived notions. Beyond which, I know that things really are not like they once were.

Teja never gave me any pause as a German folk figure. He's clearly something separate as you play him from any uses or misuses of the figure by any more recent regime.
