OMG did Dean just open a bottle of beer by magic? The bloke handed it to him closed and opened his own, and then Dean was drinking, with no opener, no macho gesture with his thumb, lighter, teeth, no little hiss even -- nothing!

Just beer.-



Oh, and I really like the Tacky M/Hotel Room Of The Week running gag that show has. This week's was comparatively subdued, but we have seen some real beauties before.-

His ring?? Woah how macho! So that is why he wears one...

There was one motel, don't know which episode, that was interior-designed within an inch of its life to look like the inside of some adobe pueblo while still being a typical motel. I think that might have been funniest one.

And I know, right? It's a neat little trick.

I remember one of the ones that had the tackiest silver ornament and oversized swirly metallic wallpaper. *shiver* But it's really neat because from time to time they use that motel decor to add an element of depth-- I think the most recent example was in the Christmas episode, where the mural on the wall looked like something out of a Currier & Ives painting, showcasing "normal winter holidays" in contrast to what the boys were celebrating. Pretty neat.

And yes, the design department doesn't just have fun with the Motel Of The Week,they try and get it make sense. In some of the direst episodes, the brothers weren't in a motel, they were in some squat falling to shreds. And I don't think that would have been because Dean hadn't been able to keep up with the credit card scamming.-
