Even Little Ladies grow up...

From her first attempts at using a dollmaker in June 2006, which were full of  twee, the taste of my Little Lady has developed, away from the twee.

Now, using the TekTek Dream Avatar Maker, she produces these:

         


I especially like the Pirate Queen...

They don't look much different from the ones grown people make -- she goes for a theme, not for what she considers kwete or purdy...

Her favourite fictional charrie -- the girl from'Inkheart'. At least that is how the Little Lady sees her.


A vampire lady, complete with bat -- we saw bats on our long walk tonight! Real ones!


I don't think she's being politically correct yet -- racially mixed couples just happen, glamorously, on TV...


And a cute business chick -- so much for gender stereotyping, as well.


Finally -- she pink and purple, he sweet and slouchy. Ahh, well.-

The Little Lady is my niece, who will be nine on Monday. She was seven, consequently, when she did the first ones.

And 'twee' is defined thusly:

Something that is sweet, almost to the point of being sickeningly so. As a derogatory descriptive, it means something that is affectedly dainty or quaint, or is way too sentimental.

Yes she is for real and has lovely red hair -- and talks a blue streak!! OMG we just walked for a few miles and she was bopping along and chatting all the time. She almost talked my ear off.

You know, now that I think about it, I believe I knew that. I remember seeing pictures of her, I think. It's just been so long since I've noticed you talk about her, I forgot what "Little Lady" referred to. x3

You might remember this icon; I had retired it. That's the Little Lady, with me -- showing altogether two eyes. She lives 500 kilometres to the north from where I live, so I don't see her all that often; but now I'm there.

When I'm there with the fambly, that's noticeable by my shutting up about Lucifer (who is at home, of course, and being fed by either the Nazgul, or Falk the Metropolitan) and instead squeeing about the Little Lady...

Oh, she is! She wants me to teach her to cook, now. We made banana chili yesterday, and green pasta with turkey mushroom sauce today.
