BTW, Harry is finally shedding. I find 4-5 in. long clumps of hair lying around. He eats and eats -- I'm convinced 95% of his body energy goes to growing the fur.

Oh yes, definitely -- when my cats grow more fur for cold times, they eat like crazy.
