I like weird crossovering things. Favourite band: Apocalyptica, who play Heavy Metal music on classical celli. The Nazgul and I are thinking about going to Vienna, even, to see a concert of theirs next April. And anything in that direction that does the Beautiful Darkness thing. Nightwish. QVNTAL. That sort of thing.

I listen to classical music with a smattering of ambient and jazz on Classic Radio if I turn on the radio at all. I like Orthodox religious music, too. Or any monks chanting. I like Russian Gypsy Music, especially Loyko. My favourite jazz artist is Alice Coltrane, and I was overjoyed that she recently published a new record. My CD of the year would be "Quelqu'un m'a dit" by Carla Bruni, which doesn't remotely fit any of those categories.-
