Things misbehaving at me

The moment I decide to take up wiebke 's strange hobby as well, the Friday Five fall silent. Such bad luck.-

And why does Deepest Sender always know who I want to be, and presents me with somebody completely different to log in as? This morning when I was going to post as margolotta, it offered me this account - Yakkie. Now that I wanted to post as Yakkie, it offered me pteppicymon. So, logically, when I'm going to post as Teppic later this evening, will it offer me to be Margo?

And why do the Fell Beasts spit on my window pane? It's all speckled.

On the good side, I got myself a photobucket. It only has my "Velvet Goldmine" screen shots so far.  Don't go looking yet! Especially not if you're easily offended by Ewan McGregor buff-nekkid.  I need to take more screen shots first - from "Chocolat" and "Rushmore" as well as some from the deleted scenes and blooper reel in "Pirates" ("Is that a plane?") and a few skies from "Vidocq" for the Nagzul who wanted them as backgrounds for her masterly manips.

And then I need to move all my LJ entry illustrations there  and edit history on my three LJs to get my own domain cleared up again for storing the backups of what I am working on. Except those that are in comments in the Bad Iconography Contest from the discworld_rpg. I can't edit those, and need to keep them about. They were small files, anyway.

Never mind the spelling. I found that out already by following the picture to your photobucket. Firefox lets you do such neat things with links...

Huh, and did I ever love her in "Brotherhood of the Wolf" and "Matrix Revolutions". She's perfect casting for Gimel Metatronim as she used to be at home, as opposed to the ditzy caricature she's become in Ankh-Morpork. Nah, Monica Bellucci's got more style in her little finger than most actresses have in their whole bodies. I whole-heartedly agree with your casting choice.

Joaquin Phoenix, huh? The Nazgul likes him a lot as well. I tried to buy "Buffalo Soldiers" recently, but it was one of those underworldly DVDs that sometimes occur here which don't have an original version for licensing reasons, so I turned away in disgust. I don't do dubbed movies, unless the original is Japanese, and the Nazgul is watching as well...

You HAVE to buy Buffalo Soldiers! It is so brilliantly amusing.

But yes, I see your point. Whenever we get a dubbed movie, liek Brotherhood of the Wolf or Crouching Riger, Hidden Dragon, I always put on the English subtitles and the movie's orginal language.

My cousin told me on the phone there's an international DVD store around the corner from where he lives. They have everything there, he said. I'll go to visit him next Saturday and have a look around then. I am hoping for "Buffalo Soldiers" and some movies with Johnny Depp that are also sold dubbed version only at the place where I go to buy movies.

However, I absolutely refuse to watch dubbed movies, unless they're for free on the TV.-
