Urqhuart mugs ordered!

Hey, dramaturgca, now that I have a new computer that's able to handle even complex Java with ease, I finally ordered my Urq mugs (three, as I am doing them anyway) from Cafepress.

They're going to look like this:

Oh that's cool. Now you're inspiring me to think about which pups would work with a mug. I think Tiwa could end up with a pretty awesome one same with Sameth.

I need coffee to function. Lots of coffee. And I like having special mugs connected with things I love, especially at work, which I sometimes much less than love.

I have had mugs that I painted myself there for quite a while, but the dishwasher inexorably eats at the paint; also, my coworkers love my mugs*, and as I tend to arrive late, most of them are gone. So in the Milliways Haiti Auction, I offered a € 10 donation for a cafepressable mug picture about Urquhart. Perhaps, when I have mastered the GIMP, I'll make one with all my pups on, too. Milliways AND Morningstar. With double Urquhart...


** I think I'll make them each a special hand-painted mug when I finally manage to get another job and can leave the Miserable Village forever. With their initials on.

I have quite an impressive collection of mugs which was so much fun when I moved. One of my favorites is a two dollar mug that I carried all the way back from New Zealand and its just pretty. I drink a lot of tea so at home I have lots of mugs.

Though I love the idea of having some pup ones, two of my mugs are from where I went to college, one has a cat sleeping amongst books, one has this pretty molded pattern on it and I forget the other two or three.

I really need to invest in some kind of travel mug since I drink a lot of tea around campus and that would be better for the environment and all. I just need to find one I like.

Oh and your cookies are going to be made in this coming week. I realized that I didn't have some important things like a sifter. Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience.

Who's in your icon?

Adam Green, who was Miniver Cheevy for Ven, and is Schnozzle for me in Morningstar Manor. But it's a general 'Bleargh I need coffee' icon as well.

So totally a candidate for a general allpup icons mug as well. I'll see how fine the resolution from Cafepress is, and if it's good enough to have lots of little icons scattered on a white mug, I'll do a design.
