Among all characters in 'Mad Men', I find Duck Philips singularly off-putting, to the point where I can't look at him making out with a woman.

Am I the only person who thinks Mark Moses (the actor) strongly resembles George W. Bush??

It's totally amazing! I started watching it solely because of Christina Hendricks, but soon fell in love with the entire concept. I'm halfway through season 3 now...

A lot of people really loathe Duck. I don't. He was the heavy in season 2 and did some despicable things, but I can't remember ever having that visceral "AUGH, get off my screen!" reaction.

I am making an educated guess as to which episode you had most recently watched before posting this. Heh.

Seven Twenty Three, yep. Although I still haven't puzzled out what the title refers to. Is that meant to be the time in the morning when we see Betty waking up on the fainting couch, and Don waking up with a bloody nose, or what?

This is more intuitive in US usage. It's the day Don signed the contract: July 23.

I don't think myself that Mark Moses looks that much like George W. Bush (he looks like he has a functioning forebrain, for one thing), but Grandpa Gene's actor bears an uncanny resemblance to John McCain, something which got a fair amount of comment during the first US run.
