The only original one is the Blacherniotissa (the standing Virgin Mary); she is hand-painted and has actual gold leaf. She's new, though, and the fellow who painted her was from Romania, which is not actually icon country.

The Nazgul and I are going to teach ourselves to paint them with the help of a very thorough book and the things she heard from an icon-painting Orthodox monk in Finland. I shall soon be overgrown with icons and the be forced to spread them around...

They might come in very useful, too. Icons are a wonderful housing for entities; in fact, saints are nothing but the Christian version of entities.
