BTW, I thought of you often during Dragon*Con, mostly because you would be MUCH more familiar with a lot of the popular fandoms than I am. You'd recognize so many of the costumes and references and panels. Me, I'm just sort of MEH, heading off for more non-fandom panels and doing shopping for things like corsets and giant fuzzy microbes. This year I was even less informed than usual, as my "translator" Kristina couldn't make it and explain. I just don't watch TV or get DVDs of TV.

There were people there I'd really have loved meeting. Eventually, one year or another, I will make it to Dragon*Con!

Instead, I was in Austria, immersing myself in art, geomancy, and hot water, which was brilliant as well. I'm going to do a picture post about that when I find the time.
