A very small protest alone in the dark
I went to a little protest rally in solidarity with the Stuttgart21 protests that I blogged about earlier. That blogger from near Stuttgart had pointed me there, and wanted to look whether anybody turned up there, and just show my nose in general support.

There was a tiny group of protesters forlorn in the middle of Munich's central square, Marienplatz, gathered around the St. Mary column.

Some rather grizzled Green party member with a flag explaining to some cops that the protest was announced in time and legal.

One of the protesters tooted on a vuvuzela.

More Greens with flags.

The tiny demonstration strolling down the pedestrian zone.

In the end, at the train station, there were more police people there than protester, and everybody went home bit anticlimactically. I heard the police people decide that they were going to do random controls in the suburban trains next as they were out on a Friday evening anyway. So hopefully, some drunk Oktoberfest orcs got the tail-end of this.-
