There is a perfection to the episodes of the mid-first season of 'Mad Men' that hasn't been reached by anything else ever since, say sorry.

I've just rewatched 'Babylon' on German TV. So many classics in 45 minutes!

"Babylon" is amazing. Especially the closing...the song ending, and only the quiet whoosh of traffic as two lovers stand together as though they were strangers.

Gives me chills.

Is the version on German TV dubbed or subbed?

Dubbed, unfortunately. German TV dubs everything. With no accents.

The voices are very similar, but what I really miss is that sweet, studied malice in Joan's voice.
