Questions meme

Everybody does it, and so can I: you can ask any character  of mine any question (Fic or RPG character, chat figments and novel characters as well if you want to), and they can't lie.

Huh - there be will at least one rude question for the Princess from the Lady, I fear...

Since I only know your Wraeththu fic I will ask:

Cael, how would you rate aruna with that Nahir-Nuri, on a 1-10 scale?

[identity profile] wiebke.livejournal.com 2004-05-07 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
An thoughtful answer, Cael. I wouldn't expect anything less.

Now what are you currently knitting?

Wah! I can't think of anything. Um... lets see...since I'm vain...your Ladyship, Teppic, and the Cap'n: each of you tell me something about something to do with Ponder. Or something.

Ponder is so charmingly difficult and awkward; getting him on my side and finally getting him to like me was quite a challenge. He was so formal and frightened of me at first - and still he wouldn't budge at first until Havelock interfered. That made me respect him very much.

Oh dear, Ponder. Yes. Ponder and Victor, that is. Ponder still doesn't know I know about them, and that makes things awkward. At least he's stopped going about me and my Chiddy being too open. That always made me want to call him all sorts of hypocrite. But I couldn't, because Ponder would only say "erm" for a whole week if I did.

And now we share co-non-ownership of a crate of astonishingly cute rats. Isn't there a way HEX can determine which are male and wich are female? And then Ponder keeps the males, and I keep the females, or something? I would hate to have to kill an animal I know. Or have dwarfs eat it. I must be the worst assassin ever.

Speaking of Ponder and Victor: whatcha think of that?

[identity profile] pteppicymon.livejournal.com 2004-05-07 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, they're just too cute for words. And so totally obvious! I mean, you should have seen them at the Agatean place, when Ponder had Victor's dessert. I was really a bit embarrassed, as I hadn't yet told Chiddy then, and couldn't stop myself from thinking what we might be like...

At the parties, too, where we met them a few weeks ago. They're so very much together. Or when they get loose on your journal and talk in innuendos and half-sentences all over the place. I find it's so sweet. Call me silly. I found the vampire fellow silly, you know. He actually made a face verbally at Ponder and Victor doing it on his journal. He should have enjoyed it.

You don't find them a strange sort of couple?

[identity profile] pteppicymon.livejournal.com 2004-05-08 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
No, why? Because they're so different? Sometimes, opposites do attract. And those opposites aren't always the male/female variety. I find Ponder and Victor are just right for each other.

Couples work differntly as such. See, Chiddy and me are rather similar for an outsider, assassins and charioteers and all that. Even if Chiddy's infinitely prettier than me. That's one sort of couplishness. The couplishness in Ponder and Victor is totally different. That doesn't make them strange, though.

Mr Stibbons is definitely the best thing this new PC device has brought me, even if I think of all the good things that have come to Bonk through my contact with the larger world.

Even counting Mr Vitoller; he is anything but an unalloyed pleasure. Mr Stibbons is.

[identity profile] vikytickytembo.livejournal.com 2004-05-07 11:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Even though he's not all boooootiful like pretty Mister Pointy?

[identity profile] cpt-tantony.livejournal.com 2004-05-07 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh dear, you are embarrassing me, Miss Tembo - but I am not allowed to lie here, am I?

No, Mr Stibbons is the best. Pretty Mr Vittula, or Mr Pointy, or whatever one might call him, unfortunately got under my guard in some way. I'm getting in deeper and deeeper there, especially what with the silly thing I did yesterday. But it is not something I would choose.

No, Mr Stibbons is sensible, and thinks just as I do, and is so relaxing to talk to as there's no need to dumb down things, or to edit. Well, I wouldn't tell him other people's secrets, of course, so I can't say it's Otto I am so worried about it, but otherwise, there is nothing I couldn't talk to him about.

Tomjon, on the other hand, is a source of constant worry, misunderstanding, and upset. I sometimes sekritly wish I didn't know him at all, or I had never noticed his beauty. Odi et amo, and all that...

[identity profile] vikytickytembo.livejournal.com 2004-05-08 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
And what do you think of Mister Tugelbend?

[identity profile] cpt-tantony.livejournal.com 2004-05-08 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Mr Tugelbend? It has been a long time since I talked to him. And he never said much. But of course I know him from his journal, and his comments in other people's journals.

He seems very decent, quiet, calm and patient. Strangely, he apparently is the one connecting element between Mr Vitoller and Mr Stibbons, the one who can make peace between them, and at the same time their original bone of contention. Such is human nature.-
