He also calls the Turkish Siege of Vienna (an event Islam bashers in the west tend to refer roughly in the same way as oriental argument refers to the Crusades) 'one overzealous Turkish general and his unlicensed army besieging Vienna', too; but I suspected only real history geeks would find it quite as snerk-worthy as I did, so I just posted the Crusade quote....
