Middle ages starting again..

The Nazgul and I went to the first medieval market of the year. I probably shouldn't have gone, as I am still quite sick and went through that place wheezing, coughing, spluttering, and largely useless. Most of the time, I sat on a beer bench drinking mead beer and looking at people's costumes with the Nazgul. I did get two more pint mugs from the same potter as last year's (in the icon), and we posed with the other hobbyist 'Scot' with his veeeeeeeerrrra laaaaaaaaaaaaaang sword...

Course you are!! We get middle ages again at the end of September, on two consecutive weekends if we want to.

And there will be a longer picture post as soon as my brains found a way to work through the mist of the antibiotics I am getting for my lurgy. I just caught myself at having sat for an entire hour in a certain place beside the cats' litter box thinking about interior design...

I'm sure there are. Where is Lanark,for example? It sounds rather big. Or Traquair, which is fairly soon?

I've got the Dreaded Lurgy at the moment, one real big mother of a summer flu with a cough that just won't stop, and am getting antibiotics and now codeine as well.

I'm very sorry to hear that and wish you a speedy recovery.

Last month I had a very similar thing. The high pollen levels weakened me and I got strep throat (and Daniel caught pharyngitis). As much as I hate them, I must admit that the antibiotics were the only thing that helped me get over it.
