I just bought the Carla Bruni CD - and you know what? I now know why the voice felt so familiar: the title song, "Quelqu' un m'a dit"  often turns up in the nightly ambient mixes on Classic Radio. When my "current music" on my LJ entries has been "random ambient stuff on Classic Radio", it was often that!

And then I just opened Eudora and there was - a mail from amazon.de

Announcing they had just shipped "Gormenghast".

And then, about an hour ago, the email from the Wayward Frenchman followed where he announced he had bought the Carla Bruni CD as well. In the deluxe edition with bonus DVD. He's quite willing to put stuff from the DVD online when he figures out how, too.

I guess that's the version for het males. He claims to admire how talented she is, though, and how intelligent her lyrics are...

Instant total fan, that fellow. Poor Lajos falling for Mr Pointy is nothing in comparison.

Well, yes, Tepp thinks so as well. But he doesn't collate evidence, like Lajos, he jumps to conclusions right away. And unlike Lajos, Tepp might one day be fed up and say it out loud. But not now; now, he's en route to Epehebe, and happily looking forward to the races.
