I just found out how 'Ashes to Ashes' ended and am so fucking shocked. Just -- fuck me in chocolate, what a reveal! And Gene Hunt, of all people. I wonder what the LoM/AtA Milli contingent are going to do now? To get the carpet pulled out so utterly from underneath everything... *feels very sorry for those muns*

Yes. I guess the Milli-muns of the characters from the show have collectively agreed on a way of dealing with that crap the creators thought up for the last episode, that's why it was so surprising for me.

I can't agree with you there. They made him more than a one trick pony and then reset him to default right at the end so one could see the process continuing. But then I quite liked the ending of Lost, so what do I know?

From a narrative point of view, that is a very good point. I was just thinking of Gene Hunt as a charrie in Milliways.-
