I don't know. I managed to break a corner bench Phia and I had taken apart and reupholstered; when I was putting it back together, a number of dowels in the elderly chipboard decided they couldn't take the strain any more when I was turning the piece around on my own while Phia was summoned to do something else -- on the one hand, had I waited for her, I might have avoided the worst strain on the weak dowels by lifting it together; on the other, it's good only I am a bit Under A Cloud and not Phia as well, as she'd take it far more personally.

Minding Jón, on the other hand, is an unmitigated pleasure. Especially as he's fast asleep, Sphinx and Markus have gone for a walk, the older three kids have left for my parents' place, the dishwasher is going and I have the first peaceful moment I don't need for sleeping since Tuesday.

I love those kids to bits, especially Phia and Jón, but I'm really glad I have no family like that permanently...
