This is what happens when I suddenly stop answering pings on IM -- there is a large red cat sitting on me!

Captured just now by the Nazgul with the Pentax that is neither new nor mine, but still brilliant -- this was taken without a flash!

That's what the four fuzzies are doing with me right now!

Jakob -- my enormously fat tom cat (he weighs in at 18 pounds *le gasp*) -- thinks it is far more important that he have my attention than my work. Leopold -- my second enormously fat tom cat who is just 1.3 pounds slimmer -- won't be picked up or patted, but he loves to rub his head against my bare feet and it tickles!!!!

And the kittens think that the cords to the laptop were provided solely for their entertainment. :D
