This is what happens when I suddenly stop answering pings on IM -- there is a large red cat sitting on me!

Captured just now by the Nazgul with the Pentax that is neither new nor mine, but still brilliant -- this was taken without a flash!

Entirely not sure. On the contrary, the Nazgul and I always joke that there must be some lynx crossed in, there in the dark deep woods he's from, not far from the mountains and Austria, where they're crazy anyway...

But really, out there in the alpine foothills, things can be a bit strange. Lucifer has this lynx thing, and Mephisto is odd anyway -- who better to blame than the Austrians? As Bavarians and Austrians have been blaming each other for ages, anyway.

An ancient joke I heard from an ancient Bavarian:
At the border between Bavaria and Austria, some unhappy individual has hung himself on a tree just this side of the border. When a Bavarian border patrol comes by, they wonder what to do, decide they don't want all the hassle with the paperwork etc., take him down, and then hoist him up again on a tree just a few steps inside Austria, and walk on. After a while, an Austrian patrol comes by, and they stare at the corpse and go, 'How very odd, now he's back again!'

-- Of course, in Austria the joke is told exactly the same, just with the roles reversed.

Never heard that joke, nor had I heard the one d_j loooves about how there's only a string inside our heads and nothing else, guess what it is for.

Skype-secret: hit three keys at the same time (one after the other is easiest) and wait what happens. People thought it is only if you type cattttttttttttttt but it works with all three. I wouldn't have told you if I could have shown you instead.
