Triumph no. 1, done as a facetious letter:

Dear Liberal Democrats of Germany, you are fucked. You are so fucked, there isn't even a word for it. It's only one state, you may say, but two more are set to vote soon, and you will cease being a part of the political landscape. We hate you now the way you've deserved to be hated since 1982. Absolutely no love, your former* electorate.

Triumph number 2:

The first mosquito of the year came inside tonight. The cats hunted it, but I ultimately killed it, flattening it against the wall. I won't be stung tonight!



* I never voted for them, as I remembered they are a bunch of opportunistic traitors ever since 1982, but everybody else has now, after 30 years, woken up to that fact as well.

You've lost me again. But it's good to hear that young Germany is still actively political. I had feared the apathy of America was contagious.

I'm not all that young. But erm, actually, I became a member of the Pirate Party this month. They don't require sitting around and wasting time in dingy backrooms of pubs to be part of the decision making process within the party, they have Liquid Feedback instead, so I can be constructively political while doing the usual stuff I do anyway. They're so swamped with membership applications, though, they haven't even started processing mine. Worse than a tightly moderated LJ comm! I hope they get to it before all the interesting things of the next weeks and months are decided, though.

Nope, the days when that was original are long past. Nowadays, dressing up as pirates is considered silly, or even trollish.

I think just about anyone is a better hunter than Mephi and Luci. Hate to break it to you, hun. Those putty tats are adorable but worthless.

Mine, on the other hand, have been known to instill terror in police dogs.

Anything bigger than a fly instills terror in Lucifer, I'm afraid. He's the biggest coward ever.

And they're neither worth- nor useless. They are very useful in relaxing and amusing me. I don't want to imagine whom all I would have slain, killed with fire, and smited with thunderbolts if not for my cats de-stressing me.

My cats are only mock-ferocious to each other. They stage battle and murder scenes for their own entertainment, and mine.

I love that stage kittens go through where they just attack one another all day long. One will be eating and POUNCE! The other one gets him. One will be sleeping and KOWABUNGA! The other one bites him. I wish they never had to grow up.

Of course my household would be demolished but I'd be happy.

Yep, that's exactly what they're like from time to time. Especially now it's spring.

It's hot here so mine are all draped all over the furniture trying to stay cool. And shedding. Everywhere. Like I think I have fluff in my lungs.

Yes, mine have started shedding as well. There are drifts of fluff in every corner.
