Maru cheats at art

What Pan Walther did with great care by hand & with smelly chemicals, I can nowadays do with some picture editing program and a working knowledge of histogram curves. I had been wanting to try for a while; when I took a walk with my mum this evening, I took some pictures with my new camera (which is neither new nor mine), then frobbed the results a bit, and here we are:

I don't even use Photoshop; I use PSP or Paint.Net -- depending on which computer I am on, and this is the little one, on which I don't run big ole memory-hungry PSP X3. I'm not very good at the Pastede On Yay thing, either.
