You shouldn't. The faces were blown up as it was, and if you make it larger, it'll all go out of focus. I had to scale it down so the faces looked halfway natural.
I would probably use blurry b/w clouds as a background for some remembered long-lost love, or trees again. But then, I always prefer dark and wistful to sweet and schmoopy.

I keep trying to explain the concept of "self-sufficiency" (eg, human purchasing rotissiere chicken at store is NOT self-sufficiency) but while they strenuously object to having anything to do with me, they feel strongly that woman should provide.
Yes, they are schmoopy for you so you can look at them and go 'awwwww'. They earn their dinner that way. That's enough self-sufficiency for them. After all, we're all civilised 21st century cats and humans here, with division of labour invented for millennia.-
